Dude This is awesome. Trying to put the "Read more" tag. Let's see.

Well, I like this photo. Test.

Adam Hauck "The Lost Footage"

Here's a little something for all the MTB lovers out there. Adam has always been my favorite MTB rider, because his style is BMX-derived and pretty unique on a 26" bike. I've had this in my "Watch later" list for awhile and I finally got to watch it today: some tricks are mind-blowing.

Tate Roskelley frame edit

This is a web video od Volume's team rider Tate Roskelley riding the
new Drifter frame. In this video you can see very interesting and unique
riding. You will love this.

Marko Žido edit

I had some clips of Marko and he told me to put together a web edit.
This wasn't intended as a web edit and also I lost some of his backflip clips, sorry about that Marko.

Marina di Ravenna Skatepark

Bad news for the Marina di Ravenna skatepark. It is being sold due to unspecified reasons. However, some other city might buy the ramps and place them in a new location (perhaps closer to our Region. Some speculations talk about Venice/Mestre).

Below you can see a few photos and the video of last year's WUP BMX jam.

09 December 2010

Mark Webb @ The Ghetto Shed

Today we start with an International post. Webb destroys his own warehouse with amazing jumpbox and lip tricks. Nothing else to add. Just click play.

DNA at the Movies with Aleksandar Manojlovic

Aco tells you about his favorite BMX movie part. Although I don't know how legal is this (copyright-wise). DNA seems like a real good portal and you guys should definitely bookmark it.

Wicked Jam 2010 - Best trick video

I usually enjoy best trick videos and this one sure lives up to the expectation. The riders come up with some amazing moves at the Wicked Jam.

S.N.O.W. Project

Sandro Mur and his photographers (Elvir Tabakovic and Dok) are responsible for these great photos. There's some serious action going on in our little country. Check the gallery here and some of my personal favorite photos after the jump.

Girls weekend

This is a great video. Not only that they look good, they ride good.
Girls in this video are: Peta Shepard who rides for Colony, Ange, Crystal,
Rani and Micky. There are some creative tricks like a seat stand tailwhip
from Micky, heelclickers and other.

Also hit FAT BMX for some more girl bmx.

05 December 2010

Urban Projekt - Step Forward project

Lučo (Urban Projekt mastermind) told me about this a few days ago and now there is a project as well. According to them, it could be done in 3 to 5 years time. This is located in Nova Gorica. Basically, the bowl would take the skatepark's place, while the surrounding ground would be a skate plaza. I don't know what they're going to do with the vert ramp though.

Also, it's good to know that there probably won't be any restrictions for BMX bikes.

Hit the jump for two more photos.

EDIT: Keep in mind that this is just a project and it'll remain such until someone actually starts building it.

Props "Colony Of Summer" 2001

BMX in its purest form. Ruben Alcantara, Kevin Porter, Axel Jurgens, Dave Mirra and other legends have a nice Woodward session in 2001. Very nice.

Go to PropsBMX.tv for more videos.

The Saga Trailer

If anyone has more news about this, feel free to share them. All I know is that this was filmed somewhere near Varazdin and in Maribor and that it is produced by Black Shadows Syndicate. Seen on Dropbike.com.

Pepsi Evolution Jam 2010 - Official Video

..and here's the official video of the Pepsi Evolution BMX Jam 2010. The guys at Urban Roof did a great work at filming and editing. Awesome.

My video is still in the works.

I already posted a video of this event a few weeks ago. This one is kind of a highlights video of the Mini Ramp demo. Video by Simone Barraco.

Daniel Dhers Interview

30 November 2010

Den Devils Dirt Jump Contest 2010

Sorry for the delay, guys. I have been very busy lately and had no time to edit this one.

This was filmed in Maribor at the beginning of October. Hope you enjoy it.

EDIT: Here's the link to the Pinkbike version. Cast your vote for "Video of the day"!

Daniel Dhers DNA Teaser

Nothing particularly exciting in this video, but it's still worth sharing. The guys at DNA sure won't refuse a bit of free advertising (even though, I don't really think they need it). Follow them here.

Nik Pušnik Interview

Yes, Nik is hogging the front page today. I just found out that "Jergo" (Jernej Zadravec) asked him a bunch of questions for his Pinkbike blog. Check the quick Q&A here. All photos by Jernej.

29 November 2010

Nik Pušnik One Year Edit

There are so many good things about this edit that I really need to list them all:
1) Nik is really progressing fast. I saw him at the Evolution Jam and he is really good for his age.
2) Dario Krnjak's filming and editing is awesome. I must say that this is his best production so far.
3) I love the Disney font.
4) I spy some sponsorship requests for the rider in the near future.
5) This is the 500th post on this blog. Hell yeah!

Nice Times in Baška Voda/Makarska

I don't know much about flatland, but it's nice to see that there is an actual scene in Croatia. This was filmed in April, edited and uploaded recently and somehow went unnoticed. It's also nicely filmed and definitely worth a watch.

Riders are: Frane Granić, Ante Bekavac & Leon Vignjević.

28 November 2010

Udine Skatepark: UPDATE

Bad news: BMX bikes are not allowed in this park. Why? Because "the park was built with skateboards and rollerblades in mind, therefore it is not suited for BMX bikes".

Honestly, I don't see how a small city (because, after all, Udine is not that big) can have a skatepark that has such restrictions (same thing with the skatepark in Trieste). It's really a shame that cities (regions?) allow such discrimination.

Thanks to Iacopo for the news. Check the full article here and some more photos after the jump.

New LBC Team Rider

Rok Langus Žumer and his mustache are now officially part of the Ljubljana BMX Crew. Check some more pictures of Rok's riding on the LBC page. All photos by Tim Pipp.

Udine Skatepark

After a long wait, the skatepark in Udine is finally built. The concrete still needs about one month to dry correctly and then it'll be rideable. I still don't know if it's going to be skate-only or not. You can see more pictures after the jump and read an article (in Italian) here.

EDIT: According to the comments on the FreeUL Skateboarding site, the opening jam will be held on the 5th of December.

Ivan Perhat Imaš? edit

Ivan Perhat aka Štinjanrider is a young rider from the surroundings of Pula. There are some really nice street moves in this one.

27 November 2010

Danny MacAskill Digdeep edit

24 November 2010

Greg Watts Daydreaming

I've kinda neglected the whole MTB world in the last few posts, therefore I feel the need to make a post about the good old mountainbike. Here's Greg Watts' commercial for Haro bikes. It sure made me smile.

23 November 2010

We Love Colorado

I still haven't had the chance to watch the whole thing, but, as far as the internet tells me, this is an awesome edit and will make your day (or maybe your whole week, who knows). Also, I do believe that it's hard for a T-1 edit to be bad. Enjoy.

Danijel Baumgartner - New Evolution team rider

Danijel aka Bangi is the new Evolution team rider. I'm not sure whether he's exactly "team" or "flow", but that's not really important. What you should care about is his latest video. I definitely approve of the song choice. Bowie is awesome.

Evolution Jam 2010 - Photos

Nejc Pus and Jernej Zadravec are top contributors to this blog when it comes to photography. They both have some pretty nice snapshots from last saturday's event in Ljubljana.

My friend Tibor Huđik got his new Canon 550d. So he filmed me and
some other riders in the park. If you ask me, the Canon 550d is awesome.
He made some slowmo clips in this video. It's very interesting.
Filmed and edited by Tibor Huđik.

DK Bicycles and Oton Bačar

Do you recognise the face in this ad? It's Oton Bačar's avatar on Vimeo. Too bad that you can't really read the story, since there isn't one yet. You can read Oton's assistent (aka Chincha) blog if you want to.

Anyhow, this post is related to this one. Hopefully, we'll get to see the videos soon. Read more to see Oton in action.

Indoor park in Zagreb?

The masterminds behind this project are Filip Strbad (who has been added to the DUB BMX team), Nikola Jagić, Luka Travaš and pretty much the whole street MTB/BMX scene from Zagreb. Looks great if you ask me and I'm definitely going to be riding (and helping) there at the beginning of December. Can't wait.

Well, just watch the video.

Pannonian Challenge XI - Highlights + Q&A

One post, two features. The first one is a shorter version of the official PCXI video (kind of a highlights video), while the second is a quick Q&A with some of this year's Pannonian athletes. I'm still awaiting some riders' responses to the Q&A. If they do, I'll just add their answers in another post. Hope you guys enjoy the new features.

How come you've come to Croatia? Any particular reasons?

Andrew Jackson: Well my girlfriend is from Croatia and she was taking a trip to visit her friends and family. So Pannonian was a good excuse for me to go with her.

Daniel Dhers: Jura invited me while he was at Woodward so I decided to make the trip.
________________________________

A tough one, just for the Hungarians: Croatian girls or Hungarian girls?

Bazsi Ivanfi: This is a good one... As a Hungarian, I would say Hungarians :)

Bobo Ujvari: My hungarian girlfriend. :)

________________________________

Favorite part of staying in Croatia?

Bazsi: I have been to Split twice. That was my favorite part of staying in Croatia.

Bobo: Osijek, of course. I've never been anywhere else in Croatia.

Andrew: The Kolobarić family.

Daniel: The party and the people.

Andrew Jackson - P: Jernej Zadravec
________________________________

How did you like the contest (and the whole event)? What do you think could be improved for next year?

Bazsi: This was my fifth year in a row. I think that just about describes the way that I think about the contest. I really enjoyed the event this year too, even though I had to ride with a broken wrist.

Bobo: I liked the contest very much. I don't know what else could be better. The atmosphere was good, the riders were good, the course was good. It was good. :)

Andrew: It was amazing, I had so much fun. I don't think anything needs to be improved it was awesome. Maybe if I could have stayed for the last day and went to the dirt contest haha

Daniel: I think it was great, they definitely are putting their heart into it and that's what it takes!

Bobo Ujvari - 360 tuck - P: Tomislav Može
________________________________

Bazsi, Why were you cruising around the park with an axe the morning after Saturday's party? What happened that night (there are lots of stories, don't know who to trust)?

Bazsi: This must be a rumor... I can't remember it, so it did not happen. haha

Party people! - P: Davor Jug
________________________________

What was your own highlight of this year's Pannonian?

Bazsi: I just did regular tricks, nothing new.

Bobo: My own highlight was that I could ride. :) I was injured before the contest and i was happy that i did not dislocate my shoulder. So, for me the whole event was a highlight. And I've seen some high lights at the party, but that might have been because of the Pelin...

Andrew: At the contest was when Poki did that huge transfer. That was crazy.

Daniel: Just riding with the locals, getting to see a different style of riding.

________________________________

Are you guys coming back next year?

Bazsi: I'm going to try my best to go next year for sure.

Bobo: Yes! :D

Andrew: I hope so!

Daniel: I might come back in a couple of weeks! (EDIT: He's already in Slovenia, according to his latest Tweets)

Meeting Daniel Dhers - P: Nikola Radojičić
________________________________

Any last words?

Bobo: Thank you guys that you're making this cool event year after year!

Daniel: Ride on!

Andrew: Thanks to everyone from Pannonian for being so cool and making me feel welcome there! And check out: www.thebank.la www.wethepeoplebmx.de www.ipathbmx.com and www.gsportbmx.com

Poki 2010 video

This is Poki's latest video. As you all know Poki is from Osijek and he
can deliver big bangers in the skatepark and on the streets as you will
see in this video. The video was filmed in Osijek, Croatia and Belgrade, Serbia.

So here it is:
