Pannonian Challenge X video

Here's the long awaited video of this year's Pannonian Challenge. This looks great. I love the steadicams and variety of lenses they used for this. Definitely a must-see!

This is a short event video we shot in one weekend during one and only croatian extreme sports event in Osijek.
Light came in throughout many of fine L lenses like 14mm f2.8L, 15mm fish, 24mm f1.4L, 24mm 3.5 TS-E, 50mm f1.2L, 135mm f2.0L, 300mm f2.8L IS. Some shots were flown on steadicam PILOT and some just happened.

Rok Krivec - 2009 season

Fisheye Test - Opteka 0.3x Ultra Fisheye w/ Canon Hv30

Here's a two day chill-ride session filmed with my brand new Opteka 0.3x Ultra Fisheye (43mm) and my Canon HV30.

I had to crop the footage a bit and remove the hood because I had some vignetting on the right side (also due to the spacer ring). Looks quite alright if you ask me.

Pannonian Challenge XI

Here's a brief schedule for this year's Pannonian Challenge.

Start date: 18 08 2010
End date: 22 08 2010

18. wednesday: Exhibits and projections.
19. thursday: open park and opening party in the park (it seems the park is going to be ready by this time)
20. friday: In-line and skate day + concerts
21. saturday: BMX day (flatland show, best trick, park contest) + concerts
22. sunday: 4X, MTB and BMX dirt jam (BMX and MTB will ride the dirt show together, but points are given separately)



Prize fund is 90 000 kn, which means 15 000 kn per discipline (1. 1000 euro, 2. 600 euro i 3. 400 euro).

Entry fee is 150kn (t-shirt, concert tickets, etc.). Categories will be for under 16 and over 16 (not like last year's amateur/pro).

Unfortunately, it seems they have given up the MTB park contest, which is kind of sad. Hope they will find some funds to finance it.

Long time, No see

You all know Jockey (aka Drazen Bozic). Well, we haven't seen anything from him in a long time.
Here's some news from him. He's working on his street and park skills, while waiting for the Dirt Jump season to start.



Oh, and there is also Luka Travas in this. Nice.

5000 views!

We reached 5000 views. 3000+ views for the month of March. Therefore, if everything goes well, we should have at least 10 000 views by the end of April. Hell yeah.

Also, Vagrant is in the works. I've finished some of the segments. Some are yet to be started though. I mean, how can you ask me to stay behind the desk, when there's such a lovely sun out there?

Hi, guys!

 Well, it’s been a long time since I wrote to you about the news but here I am with more news then ever!!!


First I would like to start with two new sponsors that I just got! They are GO PRO Cameras & Leatt Brace neck support! Go Pro Cameras contacted me a year ago because they saw a video that I made last year about WOODWARD CAMP TRAINING, so after emails they hooked me up with new HD GO PRO! So I decided to make a few films called “POINT OF VIEW by CS”. I am editing the first one at the moment! THX Go PRO!


Watching the comps and tricks while I was sitting on a plane flying to Woodward, I decided that I would wear a full face helmet almost all the time while riding my bike, and a full face helmet wouldn’t be real protection without neck support, so I contacted Leatt Brace Company and told them about my work. They decided to support me and my neck with a Leatt Brace! Safety at first!!! THX Leatt Brace!!!


So I landed in the USA and there was a Don Hampton (the owner of DH PRODUCTIONS) again waiting for me and the adventure began! I came to states a two weeks earlier then last years because I was shooting for DH Productions new movie (25th movie from DH Productions) called ” HERE WE GO AGAIN“. We flew to Sacramento, CA. to visit my FOX HEAD team mate Cam McCaul and hit APTOS Jumps and STEP UP, stayed a few days at Cam’s house and hit the road again. Next on agenda was DH in Sacramento area with Randy Spangler and Tyler McCaul. A week of shooting and we where on our way back to the East coast!


WOODWARD TIME !!!


Finally I got to Woodward again! My favorite place for training, because the only thing you can do there is ride, train, eat, sleep… And those were the only things I was doing! It was my 4th time at Woodward, and the first that I had some buddies from Croatia. Jurica Barač, a Red Bull BMX athlete from Croatia and Senad Grošić, Red Bull BMX athlete from Austria (but originally from Croatia) were there! Until now I didn’t realize how great was to be in the perfect place with perfect people. Riding every day with my friends was priceless. We forgot about progression and we just had fun all together… The result was the biggest progression ever! We where just focused on having fun on bikes and that fun made us learn faster and ride better! Everyone was flying all over the place and there wasn’t fear, just new tricks!


One morning, Aaron Chase came into my room and woke me up… I couldn’t believe it! Finally my wish came true! Riding with FOX HEAD Team mate Aaron Chase and Kyle Ebbet! From the day I started riding 10 years ago I watched MTB videos “CHAIN REACTION” & “KILLING TIME”. Watching those videos every day and watching every trick in slow-motion was my way of learning because I was first and the only one that was riding MTB Freeride then. Aaron Chase and Kyle Ebbet where the stars of those movies and Don Hampton was the one filming them, and my wish was to one day ride with those guys and be like them in a video like “CHAIN REACTION”!


One thing I learned: sometimes you have to wait for 10 years for some wishes! Never stop wishing!!! I rode for two days with Aaron Chase and Kyle Ebbet and we where filming for my GO PRO VIDEO “Point of view by CS” and also DH Productions’ “Here We Go Again”!


That was one of the best days of my life !!!


Being a kid with that wish and finally that wish coming true was just priceless, and that is why I will never stop riding bikes and wish miracles would happen!!! You should do it to !!!

Pistino Photocontest 2010

As some of you may know, the Pistino is a Slopestyle track in Nimis (near Udine, Friuli Venezia Giulia - Italy). Last year's Photocontest was great. The photos were amazing, the riding was absolutely great and they had free pasta for everyone.

Apparently, this year is going to be way better. More photographers, more riders, a workshop for younger/inexperienced photographers by Matteo Cappè and so much more. Do you need anything more than that?

Umag Dirt Jump Jam T-Shirt Design Contest

So, here's a chance for all you Photoshop freaks to show off your skills.

We're looking for a shirt design for our Jam Session in Umag and we thought some of you might be interested in helping us.

Front: do pretty much anything you want bike or non-bike related. We accept anything: from silhouttes to abstract logos. Just be creative.

Two little rules: don't exaggerate with the colors (more colors means more money to spend for printing them) and try to keep the design inside the boundaries of the shirt (out of bounds printing is also more expensive). Last year's design was a one color design.

Back: be sure to write Umag Dirt Jump Jam on the back since it's the name of the event and it has to be mentioned. Try to keep it discreet (maybe at neck's height would be alright).

Copies of already known designs will be disqualified.

Prize: the prize is a t-shirt with your own design (even girl fit, if needed), some free cevapi at the event and a truckload of respect from us.

Deadline is 12.05.2010.

It would be great if the background of the design was transparent and if the winner could provide a .PSD (photoshop project file) format of the design (or another lossless format).
