This is IronyBMX's team trip to Klagenfurt. It's mostly foam pit riding. I'm impressed with the flip whip. It looks dialed.

VAGRANT - Part Four
. . . or not.
Errr, don't be angry. Life gave me lemons, I made lemonade. Or something. Uh, it's late.
This was shot at Fat Boy Slim's concert yesterday in Umag. Now I'm leaving for Trzic or Klagenfurt. The real Part Four will be online this evening or tomorrow or on monday. Or. Err. Eh. Good night.

One more interview on OnlySteeze. Filip interviewed the newest addition to the Zion family, Igor "Poki" Vukadinovic. Read it here.
All of this sounds amazing:
- My favorite trick is double whip, just love it, and trick I want to learn is triple whip!
- I hope that my bmx video will be finished by late summer.
- Uh, this year should be a real show, it is Pannonian Challenge 11, and I expect it will be the best ever! This year should come BMX stars such as Daniel Dhers, Michael Beran, Brad Simms and many other good riders.

Spotcheck: Grapa trails #2
I've mentioned these trails about a month ago. Well, here are some rules you have to follow to actually be allowed to ride there:
1) The trails are on a private property and every kicker is covered with polyvinyl (only the locals are allowed to remove it). Therefore, it is best for you to let the guys know you're coming (everyone respectful of the rules is welcome).
2) Riding while the trails are wet is forbidden.
3) Do not litter.
You can contact Nejc (one of the locals) on this telephone number: 00386-(0)40-867-376. He'll also give you the exact location.

2010 FISE Results
For all of those who didn't know, Montpellier hosted the FISE contest once again this year. I haven't watched the whole thing live, but I managed to see the last few tricks in the park: a cashroll, a 360 downside whip to whip back, a double peg uprail to cannonball, some really low frontlips here and there and so forth. I'm pretty sure you know who I'm talking about.

Umag Dirt Jump Jam T-Shirt Design Contest
So, here's a chance for all you Photoshop freaks to show off your skills.
We're looking for a shirt design for our Jam Session in Umag and we thought some of you might be interested in helping us.
Front: do pretty much anything you want bike or non-bike related. We accept anything: from silhouttes to abstract logos. Just be creative.
Two little rules: don't exaggerate with the colors (more colors means more money to spend for printing them) and try to keep the design inside the boundaries of the shirt (out of bounds printing is also more expensive). Last year's design was a one color design.
Back: be sure to write Umag Dirt Jump Jam on the back since it's the name of the event and it has to be mentioned. Try to keep it discreet (maybe at neck's height would be alright).
Copies of already known designs will be disqualified.
Prize: the prize is a t-shirt with your own design (even girl fit, if needed), some free cevapi at the event and a truckload of respect from us.
Deadline is 12.06.2010. (we changed the deadline due to the event being postponed to sometime in July - More info in a few days)
Submissions must be sent to this e-mail address: 401vs401@gmail.com
It would be great if the background of the design was transparent and if the winner could provide a .PSD (photoshop project file) format of the design (or another lossless format).
Good luck!

VAGRANT: Part Two - Fabio D'Alessandro / Axel Jurgens / Senad Grosic
Here's part two of Vagrant. Honestly, I'm not satisfied with the titles in this, but haven't really had time to re-render it.
Hope you guys like it. I'll update this post tomorrow, since I'm tired as hell right now.
EDIT: After a delay of one week due to Windows being a bitch, here's the second segment for Vagrant. I wanted to re-edit the titles in this because the ones I put here are way too simple, but I didn't have enough time. Hope you don't mind.

New Zion team rider
Igor Vukadinovic "Poky" is the new member of the Zion family. He finally has a decent bike sponsor.
I kind of investigated before the announcement and you could've found the answer by just seeing these little clues:
- Poky liked a lot of Zion stuff on Facebook lately
- He's one of the instructors at the ZION camp in Osijek
- He had some arrangement with Boris Perkovic (the photographer who took the photos)
- Poky was very excited today according to his Facebook statuses
I'm a very good detective.

Cudesni BMX Session - POSTPONED!
This makes me sad. The rain has ruined this week for me and I'm pretty sure it has something to do with my computer freezing. DAMN RAIN!
The Street Jam in Rijeka is going to be postponed to the 5th of June 2010. Unfortunately, there is another contest I wouldn't want to miss on the same day: this one. I don't want to choose where to go. It's like sacrificing one of your kids. I need help. Or therapy.

Kilaskute Foampit Session
You might remember that I posted about this place earlier. Here's the grand opening of the foampit. The riding is pretty weak, except for Jugy trying double whips, flips and cannonballs. Also, that footjam whip on the radius made my day. Foampit looks nice. Seen on Mtb.si.
The Shredbox?

Zion BMX Camp - Osijek 22.05
BMX School? In Croatia? No way!
This is no joke. Pannonian, Zion, Red Bull, Nokia and ShoeBeDo got together to deliver this great project to every BMX rider in our country.
Click on "Read more" if you want more info.

Basically, this is going to be some sort of skatepark, street and flatland school. They'll teach you how to do the stretching before riding, how to try to improve your style and tricklist, stretching after riding and so forth.
The instructors are going to be:
- Skatepark: Jurica Barać, Aleksandar Manojlović and Igor Vukadinović "Poki"
- Street: Filip Strbad
- Flatland: Ivan Žilić
Don't forget to check the event page on Facebook.

Urban Roof - Extreme sports school
This is definitely what the sport needs: more kids on the skatepark, less kids on the soccer field. The guys at Urban Roof know this and started an Extreme sports school in Ljubljana. Check out one more video after the jump.
EDIT: Blogspot is being bitchy and won't let me have embedded videos and the "Read more" tags in the same post. Which means, you'll need to click on "Read more" to see both videos. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Ten thousand . . .
Well hello guys,
I know you're patiently waiting for Vagrant to be ready and I really appreciate that. Unfortunately, I had some problems with my computer that made editing a bit slower. On top of that, I'm still a student at University and it is quite a busy lifestyle for me currently.
Therefore, I decided to give up the idea of my video exclusively premiering throughout Croatia/Slovenia/NE Italy and thought it'd be the best for me and the blog to try to post one segment every week - starting on the day I get the 10,000th view on the blog (eventually, I'll try to set up some premieres at a few bigger contests after all the web premiering is done).
Which means that you should advertise my blog a little bit. Tell all your friends. Let them know that there is something going on. Don't fake the views, please. I'll be able to tell from my StatCounter. I want more people to know about the site, not just more views (they mean nothing if the visitors are always the same).
This blog has to be the #1 info point for every local and foreign rider about our bike scene. This is my goal and I need your help.
I'm also trying to keep a "Spotcheck" section as a database of every good spot in our region.
Hopefully, the site will be redisgned soon, but I'll be still going for a simpler look, rather than anything complicated.
Thanks.
Cheers,
Luka

Filip Strbad bikecheck
Filip has a bikecheck up on Onlysteeze. Check it out.
EDIT: Apparently, Filip is on the Evolution International team. This would explain the sticker and the trip to Ljubljana he mentions on the blog. Congrats on that.

Nejc sent me a few photos he has taken at the jumps in Sentvid pri Sticni. The photos look really nice and the trails seem to be great. They also have a foampit there.
Riders in this: Andrej Mikelj, Jost Hribernik "Jozy" and Mario Markotic.
Also, don't forget to check Nejc's blog.

Hungarian Louisiana-based shredder Danny Josa has an edit of himself riding some of the best parks in Florida. Some of you might know him from last year's Pannonian Challenge. Seen on VitalBMX.
